Join the Fun! Slovenian Dance Classes for Youth

Hey, young Slovenian Canadians!

Are you ready to twirl, stomp, and celebrate your heritage through the vibrant moves of Slovenian dance? The Slovenian Canadian Association of Edmonton is thrilled to invite you (ages 17 and under) to join our exciting Slovenian dance classes, starting this fall!

• Make New Friends: Join a lively group of kids and teens who share your passion for dance and heritage.
• Perform at the SCA Christmas Membership Party: Show off your moves at our membership party in December and other community events!
• Have a Blast: Dance is all about joy, energy, and creativity—come experience the thrill of moving to Slovenian music!

Meet Your Instructor: Joanne Jerebic
Our amazing instructor, Joanne Jerebic, has been dancing since she was three years old! Joanne is a talented performer with Studia Shumka and a skilled ballet teacher at the Ukrainian Shumka School of Dance. With her passion for dance and years of experience, she’ll teach you the steps, share the stories behind the dances, and make every class a fun adventure!

• Who: Youth under 18
• When: Classes start September 14, 2025 for a meet and greet
• Where: Slovenian Canadian Association Hall, Edmonton
• Cost: FREE
• No Experience Needed: Beginners are welcome, and we’ll provide the costumes!
